In some countries, some people prefer to rent their Homes rather than buy. What are the advantages and disadvantages of renting? We feel nowhere as comfortable as we feel in our home. If we own that home, it has the next level of comfort as compared to renting a home. Yet some people like to rent their dwellings in certain countries. This might be due to certain reasons, which we will discuss in this essay.

Some people want to enjoy life in different parts of the world. Buying a home is like restricting their freedom of movement. Even if they buy their homes, every time they would want to move to a new place, they would have to sell the old property. Selling real estate is an arduous task and one might face huge losses if selling within a specific limit of time. To avoid such complexities it’s better to rent for those who like to move frequently. Another big reason could be higher costs related to real estate. Everyone knows that selling and buying property is one of the most lucrative businesses in the world. If you are naive in the market, the market can put you in a terrible situation. New investors often struggle at the mercy of old ones. Besides buying land for the home building a new dwelling takes a lot of time, effort and money. At present building materials’ prices have gone up 10 folds. Renovation is another hefty task once you complete the building. Perhaps people prefer to rent to circumvent all these hardships. As we discussed, we can come to conclusion about why people prefer to rent their homes. In my opinion renting has both advantages and disadvantages too. On one hand, it gives you freedom, whilst on the other hand, it deprives you of owning your home.
